Orientation

 

 Check-In

All international students must check-in with ISSS upon arrival at Vanderbilt.

Bring your I-20 or DS-2019, passport, and I-94. If you have dependents with you, bring their documents also. ISSS is located in the Student Life Center at 310 25th Avenue South, Suite 103.

NOTE: If you decide not to attend Vanderbilt, you must return the I-20 or DS-2019 to ISSS immediately.

Check-In Hours
July 2012 – Monday through Friday two sessions available: 11am and 1pm
August 2012 – Monday through Friday three sessions available: 11am, 1pm, and 3pm

*If you are checking in prior to July please come during ISSS walk-in hours – Monday through Friday 10am to 12pm or 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

Mandatory International Student Orientation

All students are required to attend orientation on Friday, August 17, 2012 in the Student Life Center Ballroom.Please arrive at 9:00am for the Information Fair.  Orientation will begin promptly at 10:00am and conclude at 1:00pm.  Please mark this important event on your schedule now, as presenters will discuss information critical to your stay at Vanderbilt and in the U.S.

*Owen and Law School students will attend separate orientations.  Please contact your school for location details.

Owen International Student Orientation – July 26 at 1:30PM
Law School International Student Orientation – August 13 at 1:00PM

In addition to the required orientation session, other workshops and social events will be planned for new international students throughout the end of August and beginning of September. Details will be posted on this page and the ISSS calendar when they are available.
