Advising Hours & Appointments

Advising Walk-In Hours (No Appointment Needed)

Monday – Friday
AM walk-in hours:10:00 – 12:00
PM walk-in hours:1:30 – 3:30

Acceptable walk-in advising includes:

• General Employment questions
• Submit OPT Application and materials and pick up complete OPT Packet
• Submit J-2 Application
• General Travel questions
• General Dependent (spouse or child under age 21) questions
• General Changing of program level and/or major questions
• Other General questions

Acceptable Information to Drop-Off at ISSS (No Appointment or Walk-in Needed):

• Curricular Practical Training (CPT) form and supporting documents for F-1 students
• Academic Training (AT) application form and supporting documents for J-1 students
• I-20 / DS-2019 form for travel signature
• Program Extension forms and supporting documents
• Social Security letter request with proper documentation
• A request for letter (invitation request, visa renewal, good standing, etc.)
• Family Member Application for dependents (spouse or child under age 21) only

Make Appointment* with International Student or Scholar Services for the following:

• Change of Status
• Reinstatement
• Transfers
