He was the leader of the Egyptian army. She was the enslaved daughter of Egypt's greatest enemy. But their love could not be denied, even in the face of death. Learn more about Nashville Opera's upcoming production of Aida .  From Italian opera composer Giuseppe Verdi, comes this passionate tale of treason, jealousy, and forbidden love. One of the most famous operas ever written, Aida features thrilling choruses, wonderful melodies, intense emotion, and the famous Triumphal March.

Join us as we discuss the challenges and opportunities of producing one of the most famous operas ever written, show pictures of the outstanding costumes and set, and provide excerpts of Verdi's amazing score.
