Visi-Bi-lity: Bisexuality Days 2014

Posted by on Monday, September 15, 2014 in Archives, News.

The Vanderbilt Lambda Association would like to welcome everyone to this year’s “Visi-Bi-lity: Bisexuality Days 2014” program! We’re going to kick it off with a poster series which will raise awareness of bisexual and non-monosexual issues such as negative stereotyping and erasure.

On Monday, Sept. 22nd, we will be hosting a Bi Social, a mixer which is open to folks of all identities. On the 23rd, we will be screening a film called “Bi the Way,” which chronicles the
lives of self-identified bisexual persons and includes commentary from researchers and the general public at the time of filming. Afterward, the audience will be invited to discuss the film. Finally, we will have a Bisexual Celebration on Friday, the 26th starting at 12PM, complete with bisexual themed cake. Everyone is welcome to come celebrate bisexual, pansexual, and non-monosexual identities with the Vanderbilt Lambda Association!
