Vanderbilt community members with children are invited to an interactive workshop with the Nashville Public Library: The Learning Power of Play!

Workshop description: Adults have often lost touch with play’s inherent power and may not know how important play is when preparing for kindergarten and beyond. We will discuss the connection between play and children’s development - reconnecting parents with their own ability to play, and highlighting ways that adults can encourage and facilitate their child’s play. This workshop is for parents and kids!

Workshop 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Free lunch provided at 12 p.m.

Sponsored by the Students with Children Initiative: The Margaret Cuninggim Women’s Center, Graduate Student Council, and International Student and Scholar Services.
