Each house’s vice president will be responsible for assisting the Office of Campus Recreation in promoting and registering teams for both the Commons sporting events and intramural sports. Smoothie King is now open in the Vanderbilt Student Recreation Center
With the opening a little more than two months away, crews continue to work rapidly on Vanderbilt’s new multipurpose facility and recreation center expansion.
Recently, the installation of turf has begun inside the multipurpose facility. On the outside, workers have completed much of the brickwork and are continuing to install windows.
The multipurpose facility is scheduled to open Oct. 31 with work on the recreation center’s enhancements wrapping up in January, 2014. The recreation center has remained open throughout the renovation process.
