Great American Smokeout Day. Our office encourages tobacco and marijuana users to plan in advance to quit using the day of the Smokeout or to make a plan to quit on a future date. In observance of Great American Smokeout Day, we provide Vanderbilt students, faculty, and staff with free Quit Kits to help in their pursuit of a tobacco and marijuana-free lifestyle. Outside of our annual event, the University offers several resources for those who are interested in curbing their smoking habit and reducing their risk of illness.

Vanderbilt University is committed to providing a healthy, comfortable and productive  environment for its students, faculty, and staff. Join us and pick up a Quit Kit Thursday, Nov. 19 at Rand from 11am-2pm and Commons 11:30am-1:30pm!   Also, keep a lookout for -€œCoughy-€ the cigarette as they will be passing out kits as well.
