Flulapalooza

Posted by on Monday, September 22, 2014 in Archives, News.

Flulapalooza is a Vanderbilt University and Medical Center annual event, providing flu vaccination to faculty, staff and students at no charge.

This event is a fun and efficient way to obtain one’s annual flu shot. With cheerful volunteers and a festive atmosphere, Flulapalooza is a great place to experience Vanderbilt’s sense of community.

Flulapalooza will be held Oct 1, 2014, from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. in the large tent between Light Hall and the VA. Faculty, staff, students, and VUMC volunteers are eligible. There is no charge for the vaccine.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (http://www.cdc.gov) recommends that everyone at least 6 months old be vaccinated to protect themselves and their close contact from the flu.
