Constitution Day

This year’s Constitution Day program will feature Vanderbilt faculty member Alan E. Wiseman, Associate Professor of Political Science, and Co-Director of the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions (CSDI).

Dr Wiseman-€™s presentation, -€œThe Constitution, the Commerce Clause, and Contemporary Alcohol Policy in the United States,-€ takes as its focus the role of the Commerce Clause in the U.S. Constitution in facilitating a strong economic federation in America. It will review, in particular, alcohol policy across the past 200 years, with a focus on recent legal debates across the states during the past 10 years.
The event is Thursday, September 22nd from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. in Flynn Auditorium at the Law School. It is free and open to the public.
