Ashley Safronoff - Class of 2006

During Ashley's time at Vanderbilt, she participated in various service organizations, ranging from tutoring programs with COPC to VandyCares. She also spent her senior year interning with the American Red Cross, assisting the finance division during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Rita.

Natalie is currently a member of the Vanderbilt School of Medicine's Class of 2009.

Elliot Katz - Class of 2005

During his undergraduate career, Elliot participated in a wide array of service activities. Much of his service was a reflection of his passion for working with youth and his interest in the public interest legal sector. He worked extensively with the youth of East Nashville to try to create change in individual lives.

I am excited to join the Ingram Scholars after being involved in leadership positions in multiple service organizations in high school including Leader's Club, Tri-Hi-Y, and Leo Club. I know that Vanderbilt as well as the Nashville community offer great opportunities for me to continue my service.

Marina Seroussi (Nicolaidis) - Class of 2005

Marina Nicolaidis graduated in 2005 and is currently working at Credit Suisse in New York. During her time at Vanderbilt, Marina volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House and worked with underprivileged youth through the Vanderbuddies tutoring program. During her senior year she also interned at a girls' group home through Youth Villages.

While at VSumeet participated extensively in Habitat for Humanity and Alternative Spring Break while at Vanderbilt. Lauren Wagman - Class of 2005

Lauren Wagman graduated from Vanderbilt in 2005. She is currently living in Manhattan Beach and working for the POSSE Foundation. Los Angelos. POSSE identifies, recruits, and trains outstanding youth leaders from urban public high schools as mutilcutural teams called "posses."

Erin Wolfson - Class of 2005

Dustin Worley - Class of 2005

As a student at Vanderbilt, Dustin's service efforts were focused on adult education within the Nashville homeless community. Dustin worked extensively in the GED and adult literacy program at The Campus for Human Development, a homeless resource center in downtown Nashville. Additionally, Dustin completed his summer service project in Nashville with the same organization.

2004

Sarah Harris - Class of 2004

At Vanderbilt, Sarah was interested in working with at-risk youth, women and faith-based programs. Sarah was president of the Vanderbilt Prison Project her freshmen year and also volunteered with youth mentoring and tutoring through the Martha O'Bryan Center.

Ross Lucas - Class of 2004

Ross plans to continue his education by going on to medical school. In high school, he created a program called "Come Read With Me" and plans to continue that on a larger scale at Vanderbilt. He is a Coca-Cola Scholar, Toyota Community Scholar, National Beta Scholar and a recipient of the Harris National Leadership Award.

Mimi Marziani (Franke) - Class of 2004

During her time at Vanderbilt University, Mimi was active in a number of Vanderbilt and Nashville service organizations. Her most notable service accomplishments include serving as Co-Chairperson of Vanderbilt's Alternative Spring Break organization, as a member of Magdalene's board of directors, and as an intern with the Nashville GuardianAd Litempublic defender.

Millie Mast - Class of 2004

As a senior Ingram Scholar, I am actively pursuing my goal of achieving academic success as a Communication Studies major, honing my leadership skills while serving others, and becoming a more passionate person.

Michelle Neun (Martin) - Class of 2004

Michelle Martin has been working with teen and adolescent cancer patients for the past four years and will continue to do so in the Vanderbilt community.

Amber Parks (Wallin) - Class of 2004

While at Vanderbilt, Amber directed Pencil Project, a child advocacy program that brought everything from tutoring services to dance classes to some of Nashville's most impoverished children. She was also involved with Junior Achievement of Middle TN, Hike for HIV, and Saddle Up!, a therapeutic riding stable.

Kelley Siegert - Class of 2004

While at Vanderbilt, Kelley focused many of her service interests in working with children with disabilities. She partnered with a local therapeutic horseback riding center for children with disabilities (Saddle Up!) to form a Vanderbilt Chapter of volunteers to serve together in this organization.

Joe Stephens - Class of 2004

Joe's main focus at Vanderbilt was on the prison system, and he coordinated a program (under the Vanderbilt Prison Project umbrella) which paired students with inmates at the Riverbend Maximum Security Institute. This program allowed inmates of all criminal background an opportunity to participate in a vast array of rehabilitative programs involving literature, music, writing and other creative outlets.

2003

Brian Deignan - Class of 2003

The focus of Brian's service work at Vanderbilt centered on poverty issues. He led the student service organization Second Helpings, a group that provided students the opportunity to volunteer at local homeless shelters, food banks, and soup kitchens.

Katherine Miller (Hurst) - Class of 2003

At Vanderbilt, Katherine volunteered with children and the arts, a natural fit for an Art History major, who received department honors and awards, including the Cooley Award for the graduate with the highest GPA.

Erin Nasmyth (Quinn) - Class of 2003

I graduated from Vanderbilt in 2003 with a double major in Human and Organizational Development and Child Development. While at Vanderbilt, I dedicated my time to Alternative Spring Break, a student-run organization, that sends students across the country for service work during spring break.

Kate Osusky - Class of 2003

During her Vanderbilt undergraduate years Kate focused her efforts on the Best Buddies program, a nonprofit organization that pairs Vanderbilt students with individuals in the Nashville community that have intellectual disabilities. In addition she volunteered with several other organizations, including Alternative Spring Break, the Environmental Affairs Committee, and the Eating Disorders Awareness Task Force.

Soha Patel - Class of 2003

Soha has created an interdisciplinary major within the fields of neuroscience, psychology, and child development and is a math minor. She is looking forward to medical school with a focus on pediatrics. For the past 7 years, she has been working with the American Red Cross in establishing youth councils across the country and is continuing her youth involvement through the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and SGA.
