Why MSA is great:
I feel that my experiences with MSA have greatly widened my perspective of the world and have helped me understand that the dividing differences among us are usually superficial & based on misconception: at the core we are all human. My involvement with MSA has enriched my experience at Vanderbilt by giving me the opportunity to meet new & friendly faces & amazing world-renowned scholars!
Tips for making the most of your time at Vanderbilt:
- Go to class, study, & meet your professors. — The reason you are in college is to learn as much as possible & gain experience so you can put your degree to good use!
- Follow the free food. — Events that have free food are great ways to save up meals on your meal plan, plus you’ll probably enjoy a great event, learn something new, and meet new people!
- Join some organizations/clubs! — Join a few clubs – sports, cultural, religious, academic, etc. – that you can be passionate about and take advantage of the leadership opportunities that come your way!
