Barbara Tsakirgis Barbara Tsakirgis is a classical archaeologist currently working on the American excavations in ancient Athens. Her research involves ancient Greek architecture and culture, especially domestic architecture and issues regarding social life. Her books include The Nashville Athena and Morgantina Studies, which is a result of her long-term work at the American excavations at Morgantina, Sicily. She is chair of the Department of Classical Studies. |
