Sarah Coggins earns travel award and presents her research at the ASP meeting

Undergraduate student Sarah Coggins was awarded a Marc Dresden Travel Award from the American Society of Parasitologists, which subsidized her travel to the society’s annual meeting. At the meeting Sarah presented her work on the differential susceptibility of Aedes and Anopheles mosquitoes to bacterial infection.
The American Society of Parasitologists (ASP) is a diverse group of over 1500 scientists from industry, government, and academia who are interested in the study and teaching of Parasitology. The 85th annual meeting was held in Colorado Springs, CO.
