Vanderbilt Hillel

Annual Fund Giving

The motivations for giving to Vanderbilt Hillel are highly personal and varied. Some donors want to support pluralism in the American Jewish community. Some wish to help educate talented, energetic, and idealistic young Jews to embrace the challenges of the Jewish future through leadership education. Some choose to support Vanderbilt Hillel because they believe in the strengthening of a personal bond between Israel and the new generation. Others want to enrich the Jewish experience for young people during their years at Vanderbilt. Yet others understand the practical benefits of excellence in Jewish education.

Whatever your motivation, giving to Vanderbilt Hillel strengthens Jewish education at Vanderbilt and ensures strong Jewish leaders in the next generation. Vanderbilt Hillel is ideally positioned to make a positive difference. We encourage you to explore our Web site and to learn about the wide range of exciting opportunities Hillel makes available to engage and empower its students. And we ask you to join us as our partner in creating a Jewish renaissance, by supporting Vanderbilt Hillel today.

Exclusive of student program fees, which are kept to a minimum in order to maximize accessibility to the many programs and events we sponsor every year, and our federation allocation, approximately 60% of Vanderbilt Hillel's revenues come from contributions by individual alumni, parents, and friends to the Hillel Annual Fund and our Endowment Funds. By making a gift to Vanderbilt Hillel, you will be joining over hundreds of contributors who are making an impact every year on the lives of Vanderbilt’s many Jewish students.

Unrestricted annual gifts in any amount are always welcome. For major gifts, in the amount of $5,000 a year or more, the Board of Governors and the Parent's Leadership Committee at Vanderbilt may be an interest to you. There also are a number of naming opportunities available that can be viewed under the Naming Opportunities section. Following discussions with the Director of Development, the interest of the donor can be best matched with the program needs of Vanderbilt Hillel.

As our Hillel is stronger and growing faster than ever, we need your help to raise the funds necessary to maintain a vibrant community of future Jewish leaders. They will surely benefit from your generosity. For any questions, please contact Ari Dubin, Executive Director, at ari.dubin@vanderbilt.edu or call at 615-343-1953.
