Curriculum Vitae



William J. Hook is the Director of the Divinity Library and Professor of the Practice of Theological Librarianship. His responsibilities in the Jean and Alexander Heard Library also include being Assistant University Librarian for Collections, Director of the Library Copy/Printing Services, and Facilities Director for the General Library Building. He received his B.S. in Mathematics from Florida Institute of Technology. He attended Candler School of Theology (Emory University) where he received the M.Div. degree, and received his Ph.D degree in Religious Ethics from Vanderbilt University. He has been the Director of the Divinity Library since 1987.
