The Fisk-Vanderbilt Masters-to-PhD Bridge Program was developed with the hope that the lessons learned, strategies, and tools we have developed would inspire and provide concrete guidance to other practitioners in the field seeking to develop similar programs. This page provides links to our tools and resources. These may be used freely with attribution as indicated below.

|Bridge Program Architects Toolkit
||An online repository of materials essential to the operation of the Fisk-Vanderbilt Bridge Program. Includes interview protocols and rubrics for use in admissions, rubrics for providing student feedback on research performance, a "dashboard" for monitoring student performance, a timeline of crucial mentoring interventions, examples of materials used in program orientation, and many others. Any use of these materials should retain the Fisk-Vanderbilt Bridge Program watermark. Note, the link is to a publicly shared Dropbox folder and will automatically be updated as the included toolkit components are updated.

|Fisk-Vanderbilt Bridge Program research article
||Published in the American Journal of Physics, 2011. Describes the program, its key precepts, mentoring strategies, and also includes the admissions interview protocol and rubric found in the Toolkit above.
|Article on misuse of GRE scores in grad admissions
||Published in Nature, 2014. Provdes quantiative data from ETS demonstrating that GRE scores correlate strongly with gender and ethnicity, and argues that using GRE scores is therefore a major reason for the underrepresentation of women and minorities in STEM graduate programs.
