Welcome!
Who We Are
A part of the Office of the Dean of Students, the GLBT Resource Office seeks to foster an environment at Vanderbilt University that is open and welcoming to people of all sexual orientations and gender identities and expressions. We serve the Vanderbilt community by creating educational, cultural, and social opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and alumni/alumnae.
What We Do
The Office holds various events and trainings to further knowledge, understanding, and celebration of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and intersex communities. We also support and advise groups for undergraduates, graduate and professional students, faculty and staff, and alumni/alumnae. We maintain an ever-expanding resource library that seeks to provide information about GLBT issues and examples of how the GLBT communities encounter the world as a whole. The Office also serves as a source of information and referral for students, faculty, staff, and alumni/alumnae interested in GLBT issues. The Office staff provides confidentiality in all cases.
