Alexander Košenina is Professor of German at the Leibniz University Hannover since 2008, and has served as Chair in the German Department at the University of Bristol / UK (2004–2008). His main fields of expertise are the Enlightenment, litarary anthropology, early representations of crime, and contemporary literature. He is a reguar contributor to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
