Re-Entry Programming
Going abroad again

Transcripts and grades from abroad
Foreign transcripts can take up to 4 months to arrive to our office after the end of programs (especially from South America), feel free to inquire with our office as to their status, but please be patient. Once these are received, your record will be updated with your coursework. You can see your abroad credit under the “academic external” tab of your AAI record.
When contacting our office, please always include your name, host program, and term abroad in correspondence with our office. Also include course titles when following up on a course evaluation request.
All students will have the opportunity to evaluate their time abroad. A link to an online survey will be mailed to returned students after their time abroad. We strongly encourage all students to complete a program evaluation so that GEO may improve its services and program offerings. If you have questions about the program evaluation, please email GEO.
The study abroad experience can be an asset to employment. However, in order to use it to your advantage it is extremely helpful to research ways to present it to potential employers. Refer to the resources listed below for help. In addition, the Vanderbilt career center can offer excellent consultation for your resume and employment options. Don’t hesitate to drop by!
