Argentina

Universidad de Buenos Aires, Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales, Universidad Catolica Argentinca & Instituto Universitario National de Arte

The goals of this program are to provide students with a critical appreciation of Argentina and its importance in Latin America from the perspective of the social sciences and humanities. This is achieved through courses offered at FLACSO, UBA, UCA, and IUNA as well as by cultural trips and volunteer, internship, or community service options in the city.

Brazil

Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Sao Paulo

The three main goals of this program are to improve students’ oral and written Portuguese language skills; to facilitate students’ knowledge of contemporary Brazil and the São Paulo region; and to provide students with the opportunity to take a broad range of courses at a Brazilian university.

Chile

Universidad de Chile, Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, & Universidad de Santiago

This program aims to provide students with first-hand knowledge of contemporary issues and cultural patterns in Chile, accomplished through an orientation program, supplemental cultural activities throughout the semester, and Chilean homestays. Its goals are also to meet the academic needs of students through direct matriculation at three outstanding universities in Santiago: the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, the Universidad de Chile, and the Universidad de Santiago.

Universidad Catloica de Valparaiso

This program is designed for students from all academic disciplines who have at least three years of college-level Spanish or the equivalent in advanced Spanish. It aims to provide students with first-hand knowledge of contemporary Chilean coastal city life and society.. The program is most appropriate for students who want to take courses in literature, history, environmental studies, oceanography and psychology, although other majors are also offered.
