Title: Senior Deputy General Counsel
Mr. Callison joined the Office of the General Counsel in July of
1974. He is a graduate of Emory University with a B.A. degree in
political science, and a J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee
College of Law. Prior to coming to Vanderbilt he was Assistant to
the Dean of Student Conduct at University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
In addition to his administrative responsibilities for the Office
of the General Counsel, Mr. Callison’s legal practice focuses
on labor and employment, tax-exempt financing, athletics, student
affairs, general corporate matters and health care compliance. He
is a member of the American Bar Association and the National Association
of College and University Attorneys.
