COLLECTIONS

Photography

Although relatively small in numbers, Vanderbilt’s holdings in photography include a recently donated collection of Polaroid and silver gelatin prints by the Andy Warhol Photographic Legacy Project; a collection of silver gelatin prints by the Catalan photographer and arts patron, Joaquim Gomis given to the Gallery by the late Carl van der Voort (BA ’53); a portfolio of works by the French photographer, Lucien Clergue given in 2007 by Pradeep K. Jain; a portfolio of works by the American photographers Jill Mathis and Calib Cain Marcus also given in 2007 by Bradley Olson; as well as individual works by such photographers as Edward Steichen and Carrie Mae Weems.
