Cohen Memorial Hall

The Vanderbilt University Fine Arts Gallery features a series of engaging exhibitions each year that represent the diversity of artistic production today, as well as throughout the history of Eastern and Western art. The fall of 2009 marks the Gallery's
move to the historic 1928 McKim, Mead and White building on Vanderbilt's Peabody campus and a newly invigorated focus on the permanent collection, close to 6,000 objects in total, as broad-based resource to the university community.

The gallery also sponsors lectures and other programs periodically throughout the year. Please call for a schedule. Special tours and gallery talks may be arranged by contacting the curatorial staff at (615) 343-1704.

Admission to the gallery is free and the public is welcome to all events.

 

Gallery Hours
Monday-Friday, 12-4 p.m.; Thursdays until 8:00 p.m.;
Weekends, 1-5 p.m.
The gallery is closed during academic breaks.
