Overview
The Vanderbilt University Fine Arts Gallery presents a series of exhibitions each year that demonstrate the diversity of contemporary artistic production, as well as the broad scope of Eastern and Western art.  Our primary mission is to support the academic enterprise of the university by engaging students and the academic community.  In support of that mission, the Gallery collaborates with departments and centers across campus to produce both on-site and traveling exhibitions and programs from our permanent collection.

Beginning with Anna C. Hoyt's generous donation of 105 Old Master and modern prints 56 years ago, the Gallery’s permanent art collection has continued to flourish.  Now totaling more than 6,000 works, the collection illustrates comprehensive aspects of both traditional and modern world art and continues to increase in depth and diversity.

How to Give
