Brain Imaging

I am currently one of two graduate research assistants for Dr. Virginia Scott, with whom we are conducting a neurolinguistic study exploring brain functioning during lexical processing of adult monolingual L2 learners. For this project we are working with the Vanderbilt University Institute for Imaging Science.

Pineal Gland

I am doing research on the role of the pineal gland in Descartes' mind-body dualism. After submitting my work for my seminar on Early Modern French literature, I plan to work with Dr. Holly Tucker in finding an opportunity for publication.

Intensive Immersion Elective Curricula

I am working with Dr. Deborah Bart of the Belmont University English Language School on designing curricula for elective courses in an intensive immersion program.
