New student systems upgrades at Vanderbilt mean that students can now view and print their midterm deficiency reports along with their final grade reports online. As a result, the university registrar's office will no longer mail reports on midterm deficiencies and final grades to parents.
With the student system improvements, students will soon be able to update their own student records for emergency and missing persons contact information (mandated by the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008), and race/ethnicity (required for integrated postsecondary education data system reporting). Next spring students will register for fall 2010 classes with a new online system.
