Sixth Annual Soiree at Sarratt Offers Networking Opportunities and Great Fun Too
Career Parent/Student Networking Event
4:00-5:45pm (Note: Registered participants check in at 3:45pm on the Sarratt third floor.)
Hosted by the Center for Student Professional Development and the Parents & Family Programs Office
Hundreds of family members will convene for Family Weekend 2014, and the Sixth Annual Soiree at Sarratt aims to make the most of a great networking opportunity.
This Family Weekend signature event presents the perfect setting for Vanderbilt students to connect with parents from across the country or around the world. Participating parents gather in small region-specific groups, where they are joined by students interested in learning more about employment in that region or particular cities of interest. The resulting small-group discussions enable parents to share their professional experience and career advice. Students have the opportunity to ask questions and network with parents. The great conversations are followed by food and music. Please join us!
NOTE: Parents willing to participate should register at Vanderbilt.edu/families/careerform. Registration for interested students will take place via the Center for Student Professional Development in the fall. If you have questions or need help registering, please contact the Parents & Family Programs Office at 1.877.887.2736 or 615.343.7370. or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
