As soon as you arrive, stop by the Student Life Center, Board of Trust Room, to pick up your Family Weekend Welcome Packet, which will include a complete schedule of events, nametags, and other important information. NOTE: Nametags are required for entry into most Family Weekend events.
Vanderbilt Siblings Admissions Breakfast
8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Sarratt Student Center, Room 220
Vanderbilt siblings are invited to get the latest on the admissions and financial aid processes. This program will attempt to demystify the college application process while also providing practical tips. A campus tour will wrap up the morning. All are welcome, but the content will be tailored to high school students. Space is limited—be sure to register online as a part of Family Weekend registration.

- McGugin Athletic Facility Tours at 11:45 a.m. Leave from Memorial Gym Terrace on 25th Avenue (behind left field of baseball field)
- Vanderbilt Children's Hospital from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Parents and families are welcome to visit the 1st and 2nd floors and learn more about our nationally recognized children's hosptial. A looped video presentation will be available in the Performance Area located on the 2nd floor. Questions can be directed to the Volunteer Services Office located on the 2nd floor (room 2504 located across from the Food Court).
Army ROTC Strength in Action Exhibit

Join Army ROTC for a special exhibit on aviation, robotics, and strength training. Climb a rock wall, experience a helicopter simulator, and learn more about army technology.
Parents Athletic Orientation & Program Update

All parents are welcome. This program will be of special interest for parents and families of Vanderbilt’s 350 student-athletes competing in varsity athletic programs. Visit with Chancellor David Williams II, key members of athletics administration as well as a few student-athletes to learn more about Vanderbilt Athletics and the student-athlete experience at Vanderbilt. This student-organized, campuswide talent show and competition was initiated by Dinah Shore in the late 1930s. Athenian Sing began as an a cappella singing contest among fraternities and sororities. The Athenians junior honor society now produces this event to highlight the campus' premier performance groups.

- Brian Olsen: Art in Action

8:15 - 9:15 p.m.
Brian Olsen's Art in Action is an explosion - a colorful display of paint, energy, music and passion with a purpose. Using fingertips, palms, elbows and up to three brushes in each hand, brian will paint four portraits of famous people in just a matter of minutes, choreographed to powerful music. Brian's Art in Action is described as "an emotional experience" taking his audience through an amazing journey of excitement, suspense, cheer and surprise. Paintings may be auctioned off at the end of the evening.
