August 1: Housing assignments begin arriving in the mail
August 1: Deadline to submit Undergraduate Student Account Agreement form
August 3: Course registration period begins for all students wishing to change courses
August 7: Packages may begin being shipped to campus for move-in
August 19: Deadline for payment of Fall tuition, fees, and other charges
August 21: Deadline to sign up for AlertVU
August 22: First Year Student Move-In Day, begining at 7 a.m.
August 22-30: New Student Orientation, aka CommonVU
August 22-23: Parent activities during new student orientation
August 26: Fall Classes Begin
October 2-4: Family Weekend
October 16-17: Homecoming
October 22-23: Fall Break
November 21-29: Thanksgiving Break (Residence Halls close at 9 A.M. on November 21 and re-open at 9 A.M. on November 29)
December 10: Fall Classes End
December 11-19: Reading Day and Examinations
December 20-January 9: Winter Break (Residence Hall close at 9A.M. on December 20)
January 13: Spring Classes Begin (Residence Halls re-open at 8 P.M. on January 9)
March 6-14: Spring Break (Residence Halls close at 9 A.M. on March 6 and re-open at 9 A.M. on March 14)
April 27: Spring Classes End
April 28-May 6: Reading Day and Examinations (First Year Residence Halls close at 9 A.M. on May 8)
May 14: Commencement
