Pre-EAP Tuition and Fees

There is a $50 application fee for all students who receive an I-20 from the ELC.

Each 12-week course at the ELC costs $830. Full-time is equal to four courses per term. Full-time students taking more than four courses pay an additional $830 per course. The following is a list of estimated costs** for each full-time student who attends our program:

**These estimated costs are given for planning purposes only. Exact charges, which an individual must pay, will be determined at the time of registration at the ELC.

If you bring your spouse or children, include $6,800 for a spouse and $3,500 per child for one year

Other fees include a required VU Indentification Card, Access to the Health Center, and Books

Tuition Assistance and Discounts

VU ELC Pre-EAP provides tuition discounts for full-time faculty, staff members, students, their spouses, and eligible dependent children (must be at least 17 years of age). Assistance and discounts apply to courses taken at VU ELC during Fall and Spring semesters only. 

Eligibility (All registration pending availability in courses)

For Faculty and Staff:
You, your spouse/domestic partner (must be certified through Human Resources), and dependent children are eligible to participate in the following assistance and discounts if you are a full-time faculty, student, or staff member.

You are eligible for one ELC course with application, testing and tuition fees waived.  Your spouse/domestic partner and dependent children may receive a 47% discount on one course per semester and the application and testing fees are waived.

For Students:
You are eligible for one ELC course with application, testing and tuition fees waived.  Your spouse/domestic partner and dependent children may receive a 20% discount on one course per semester and the application and testing fees are waived.
