Lee Martin, Assistant Director

Lee received an MA in Linguistics (TESOL) from the University of Surrey (UK) and a BJ (Journalism) from Carleton University (Canada). Lee became Coordinator of the PreEAP at Vanderbilt in 1978. With a background in broadcasting and foreign languages, his professional interests include pronunciation/accent reduction, pedagogical grammar, and classroom teaching, as well as program administration. Lee currently coordinates the ELC Writing Consultations and is a member of the VU Writing Advisory Board. He is a long-time member of TESOL, and has also been editor of the TNTESOL Newsletter since 2004, as well as serving on the TNTESOL Board of Directors and TNTESOL Journal editorial board.
