102. Geological History of the Earth. The methods used to interpret earth history and their development. The organization of matter into minerals, rocks, animals, and plants, and how such organizational frameworks have interacted and changed through time. Geological history of North America as a general example of all continents. Three lectures and one laboratory per week. Prerequisite: 101 and 111 or 100 and 111 with permission of instructor. FALL.
