Summer Research Programs
Vanderbilt annually offers more than 60 undergraduate students an opportunity to visit campus as summer research scholars. These students usually spend 8-10 weeks doing research with our faculty or with advanced graduate students. More information about those programs can be found on the Summer Research link of this webpage.
Prospective Applicants
We encourage you to visit Vanderbilt’s campus and the department you’re interested in. During your visit, you can talk with faculty, staff members, and students; learn more about the College’s expectations and offerings; and determine whether the College fits your needs and interests. To arrange a visit, we suggest you schedule an appointment with the department to which you are applying.
Admitted Students
Many departments organize campus visits for admitted students in the early Spring; there is limited (usually transportation and lodging) financial support for these visits.
