The winner of the "Rendigs Fels Award for Graduate Excellence" for the academic year of 2013-14 is Michael Moody (pictured above with Prof. Andera Moro). The award is presented annually in honor of Professor Rendig Fels, at a ceremony held by the Economics Department with the staff, faculty, graduate students and teaching assistants all in attendance. The winner of Household International Best Research Paper is Ruixuan Liu for his paper "Interference for Optimal Split Point in Conditional Quantiles".
The winner of the Noel Dissertation Fellowship for AY 2013-2014 is Michael Moody.

With support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University will recruit new Ph.D. students whose research interests include health and health policy.
