The Department of Economics announces the creation of two new funds to support the research activities of doctoral students and undergraduate honors students. Two existing funds support diverse activities within the Department and provide scholarships for students in the Graduate Program in Economic Development.

GRADUATE STUDENT AWARDS

The winner of the "Rendigs Fels Award for Graduate Excellence" for the academic year of 2013-14 is Michael Moody (pictured above with Prof. Andera Moro). The award is presented annually in honor of Professor Rendig Fels, at a ceremony held by the Economics Department with the staff, faculty, graduate students and teaching assistants all in attendance.
