The Vanderbilt University Office of Contract & Research Management (OCRA) is responsible for
-
the review and approval of proposals that will result in contracts,
-
negotiation and acceptance of research and research-related contracts, and
-
the post-award management of research contracts
for non-medical schools, departments, and units of the University.
In addition, OCRA has campus-wide responsibility for compliance with U.S. export control law and regulation through the Vanderbilt Export Compliance (VEC) group.
OCRA is part of the Office of the Vice-Provost for Research and Dean of the Graduate School.
