The Office of Student Life at Vanderbilt University Divinity School seeks to empower students in creating and maintaining a challenging, life-giving, and life-serving community. The Office of Student Life supports the activities of the Student Government Association and a variety of student organizations, assists in Orientation organization, and facilitates a variety of programs, including Intentional Vocational Discernment, Financial Literacy, and an Essentials of Nashville and Vanderbilt student edited guide for new students.

Community gatherings supported by the Office of Student Life include Friday Coffee Hour, Community Meals, Convocation Picnic, and Spring Gala.

The Office of Student Life coordinates with various university offices, including the Office of Financial Aid, Career Center, and the Opportunity Development Center in providing a supportive context for a thriving community.
