Dore2Dore:
An Online Community
The Vanderbilt Alumni Association offers Dore2Dore, a multi-feature online
community, including permanent email forwarding, the Commodore Career
Connection, and an online alumni directory. First-time users must obtain
a VUnetID and a password to gain access to the online community.
Online directory: Vanderbilt alumni can search the directory using a variety
of methods, including alphabetical, geographical, and year/school/degree.
Alumni may also customize their searches-like Law School grads from a
particular class. You may also help us find "lost" alumni.
Permanent email forwarding: If you are a VU alumnus/a and can receive
internet email, then sign up for an alumni VU account and receive a permanent
email address-YourName@alumni.vanderbilt.edu. You can give this address
to all your friends and family. You may also set up this account so this
email sent to this address can be forwarded to a personal account-like
yahoo, hotmail, or msn-or to a work account. Please be sure to notify
us of any changes in the account(s) to which email would be forwarded.
Commodore Career Connection: The Vanderbilt Commodore Career Connection
is a database of alumni who have volunteered to provide information and
career advice to fellow VU alumni and current students. You can search
the database by occupation, employer, metropolitan area, city, state,
and country. You may also volunteer to serve as an advisor.
