Your body needs 8 ounces of water to flush out 1 ounce of alcohol. So if you drink a 12 ounce beer you need 96 ounces of water (8 x 12 = 96)!
What do I do now?
To win the game, don't use it! Avoid alcohol!
Hydrate Right!
- Use water and juices before, during and after games & practices.
- Alcohol steals nutrients, like the ones needed for peak performance!
- You want to drink fluids at all times during the day, not just after a practice.
