Christopher Nold, a 2011 graduate of the Vanderbilt University Film Studies Program, is now assisting with the coordination of the FLiCX film program. Chris works in Technology Support Services in the College of Arts & Science, and teaches fundamentals of film making at the Curb Center for the Medical School.


During his senior year, Chris was selected as a member of the Telluride Film Festival Student Symposium. His present work at Vanderbilt focuses on film production, especially by non-film majors. He is currently writing a feature-length script based on the true story of the world’s youngest spy, which will enter production in Egypt in 2013. Chris has been making films for nearly 10 years. In addition to being a filmmaker, he is an Honorable Kentucky Colonel and a two-day Jeopardy! Champion.
