Vanderbilt-in-France and the Vanderbilt Dance Program are excited to announce a summer of studying French and dance in the South of France. You'll stay in Aix-en-Provence, enjoying a Provencal way of life. Aix-en-Provence has the perfect location: 30 minutes from the sea, two hours from the Alps, and close to Italy and Spain. Paris is only three hours away by TGV.

While in Aix-en-Provence, you can enjoy art events like the Cezanne exhibition and the Festival of Lyric Arts. International music and dance festivals abound, including operas and classical concerts in the Cathedral, opera house, theatre, and in front of the Sainte Victoire.

As a participant in the Vanderbilt-in-France program, you will receive passes to attend modern dance performances, public rehearsals and lectures. You'll also have the opportunity to attend the Festival de Marseille, Apero-Dance, the Berlin Philharmonic, and Musique dans la rue (45 concerts in the streets).
