Requirements for Admission to the Program
- Completed application form for admission and a $25 non-refundable application fee. (Checks only made payable to Vanderbilt University)
- Application form may be completed online and sent electronically to Dance Program Coordinator at erin.c.law@vanderbilt.edu with remaining application materials mailed or hand delivered to Sarratt Student Center.
- If applicant wishes to fax application materials (excluding letters of recommendation) the fax number is listed below.
- Applicant's academic and artistic experience as expressed in a complete resume.
- Two letters of recommendation from teachers and/or professionals familiar with the student's dance experience.
- A brief statement of intent, which should be a concise, well-written essay (no more than 2 pages), about the applicant's background, personal goals and how s/he expects to attain these goals through participation in this program.
- Invited audition and interview (applicants may submit a videotape of their performance work). Upon receipt of application materials, applicants will be contacted to set up an interview time.
Certificate Program Expenses
- Program expenses are $650 per semester
- This includes an unlimited dance class card and certificate program fees
