The Curb Center at Vanderbilt

Signature Programs

Through our signature programs, we put theory into practice. Grounded in studies of cultural policy, public leadership, creativity and innovation, the programs further the Curb Center’s mission to engage leaders navigating and influencing the system of law, regulation and corporate practice that shapes the character of expressive life in America.

Vanderbilt Creative Campus Initiative
Vanderbilt is in the midst of launching its Creative Campus initiative to make creative practice and problem solving a core aspect of campus life and the Vanderbilt experience. This effort is led by the Curb Center for Art, Enterprise & Public Policy and faculty, staff, and students from across campus.

The Curb Programs in Creative Enterprise & Public Leadership
The Curb Programs in Creative Enterprise & Public Leadership prepare students to lead and navigate an increasingly complex system of creative enterprise and expression in the U.S.—a system defined by interdependent global markets and cultures; media consolidation; emerging technologies; complicated intellectual property rules; and changing demographics. The programs include a first-of-its-kind undergraduate Scholars program.
