Bill Ivey travels to southeastern China to speak at the International Forum on Aesthetic and Cultural Ecology Construction, September 1st and 2nd.  He will present a paper, “A 21st-Century Approach to Cultural Rights,” at the conference, which is sponsored by The Center for Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage at Sun Yat-Sen University in Guangzhou, China.  Bill, past president of the American Folklore Society, will then join AFS leadership in traveling to south-central China, speaking with students and faculty at the Yunnan Nationalities University in Kunming and touring nearby historic sites and museums.
