Curb Scholars, Creative Campus residential fellows build Rube Goldberg machines, Aug. 19

Our Curb Scholars and Creative Campus residential fellows gather August 19 in the E. Bronson Ingram Studio Arts Center for their 2011 creative practice opening retreat. The students, in teams of four or five, had approximately six hours to build Rube Goldberg machines with the goal of putting recyclable materials into a recycling bin. Learn More…

The Curb Scholars Creative Leaders Salon series offers scholars the opportunity to engage with contemporary issues around creativity and culture, expressive life, leadership, enterprise and the public interest. The 2009 launch of the series featured Vanderbilt alumnus, visiting professor, composer, and violinist, Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR). DBR spoke passionately to the students about taking action to begin their path toward a successful career.
