“We the People” is a documentary film project focused on capturing the powerful narratives of “ordinary” individuals living in Nashville and Uganda. Teaming up with the nonprofit Raise the Roof, the film will share stories of young people in Uganda, while simultaneously telling the stories of everyday citizens of Nashville. The aim of the project is to highlight the uniqueness of the individual story, but also draw attention to the common threads that run through all peoples’ stories, which unite us all.
