Stories through Curation
October 31, 2014
On Halloween, we visited the Tennessee State Museum, where museum curator Rob DeHart and exhibit designer Mark Hooper used artifacts from an upcoming exhibit on the Civil War in Tennessee in an interactive workshop on storytelling through curation and design. Curb Scholars got to use mourning jewelry—hair bracelets and earrings!—and other memorabilia to come with designs for the “Burying the Dead” section of the upcoming exhibit. Thanks to Rob and Mark for sharing their time and expertise with us!
