Studio CRB

To book a session at Studio CRB, email studiocrb@gmail.com. Include your preferred times and what your project entails (instrumentation, genre, etc.). We’ll respond shortly.

 

Your Session:

You have access to all available equipment. A recording engineer will be at your service.

 

Payment:

$20/hour for studio time (min. 1 hour). Mixing and other post-production services are available at a price based on your particular project and needs.

We accept cash, Commodore Cash (Vandy Card) and credit cards.

To use Commodore Cash or a credit card, please pay in advance at the Sarratt Box Office. Bring your receipt to your session.

 

Hours:

Mon-Fri: 5:30PM* – 1AM. Sat-Sun: 10AM – 1AM.

*Weekdays: no drums, amplified instruments or anything non-acoustic may be performed until 8PM.

Use the stairs adjacent to the driveway. Go inside, make a left. Call your engineer for assistance.

 

Necessary Rules:

To cancel, please email studiocrb@gmail.com or contact your engineer at least 24 hours in advance. If you do not,  you will be charged $20.

You are financially responsible for any damage to the studio or its equipment caused by your party.

No food or drink in the control room or live room.

Recording and/or Mixing Engineers:

Should be competent in at least one of: Logic ProPro ToolsAbleton or Digital Performer.

Must be knowledgable of all studio equipment and exhibit basic musical comprehension.

Responsible for managing the studio and equipment during sessions.

Senior Engineers are currently compensated $8/hr for studio time.

 

Management:

Responsible for studio operations, growth and innovation.

Oversee intake and distribution of finances.

Coordinate with Curb Center faculty and other Vanderbilt staff.

Lead all aspects of Studio CRB.

 

Marketing/PR/A&R:

Spread the good word about all things Studio CRB to potential clients and team members.

Maintain and develop good relationships with campus, local and broader media outlets.

Recruit top Vandy talent to use our services and/or join our team.
