Siva Vaidhyanathan speaks at Curb Creative Leadership Series, April 8
The Spring 2011 Curb Creative Leadership Lecture features Siva Vaidhyanathan, cultural historian, media scholar, and professor of media studies at the University of Virginia. He has frequently contributed to The Chronicle of Higher Education, New York Times Magazine, The Nation, Salon.com, National Public Radio, and MSNBC.COM. He has also appeared on “The Daily Show” with Jon Stewart. Vaidhyanathan holds a fellowship at the Institute for the Future of the Book and the New York Institute for the Humanities. In his most recent book, The Googlization of Everything, he challenges the legality of the Google Books scanning project. Siva’s lecture contributes to the ongoing discussion facilitated by the Curb Center on the vitality of the U.S. expressive life and creative enterprise.
