The types and coverage of intellectual property protection available for software can vary significantly around the world, especially in the case of patents.  Accordingly, seeking intellectual property protection for software and software-based inventions can be significantly more complex as compared to other fields.  In this presentation, Dr. Quinones will discuss protection strategies available for software, including the practical and financial implications of various approaches for the same.
