On Monday, April 20, the CSRC and Vanderbilt Divinity School presented the annual CSRC Spring Lecture and Howard Harrod Lecture, featuring Distinguished Professor of Anthropology Professor Tom D. Dillehay. The lecture was titled "Ontology, Scale, and Time: Inferring the Origins of Andean Religion and its Practice." Video available here.

On April 16-25, the CSRC co-sponsored the play Three Gods Walk Into a Bar at the Belcourt Theater. The farcical comedy asks the question "What happens to old gods when no one believes in them anymore?", and looks at one of the most radical shifts in Western civilization and philosophy -- Christianity.
